DANA Conference 2009 Wrap-Up
A good time was had by all at the DANA 2009 Conference
A record number of 216 attendees gathered on the Gold Coast last month to attend the Drug and Alcohol Nurses (DANA) 2009 Conference, which was once again deemed a success by delegates, sponsors and industry representatives.
Attendees at the three day event were educated and entertained by a quality lineup of speakers and an exciting social program, which included Welcome Drinks and a Conference Cocktail Party held at the Southport Yacht Club.
Program topics focused on the conference theme – “Beyond addiction: connections to the future” – and included presentations on Addiction treatment in cyberspace, Bridging the gap between addiction treatment and the meaning of life and Addressing Indigenous Substance-Related Harm.
Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the success of the event. We hope you had as much fun learning and socialising as we did!
