Anne Carroll (DANA New Zealand), the first recipient of the Margaret Hamilton Scholarship said:
‘When the 2015 conference came around I decided I’d like to present, so I submitted my abstract ‘Smoking Stopped: A Smoking Gun’, Higher Ground’s journey in becoming a smoke free program. Being accepted to present at the conference enabled me to apply for the Professor Margaret Hamilton Scholarship.
‘I was so grateful to receive this scholarship ($1,000) as it helped me with my travel expenses and also my registration fees, which made it much easier for me to attend.
