At the February Brisbane DANA meeting the guest speaker, Wendy Caldwell, President of the Australian Pain Management Association (APMA) spoke about APMA’s role in supporting people with persistent pain, their network of support groups and about their support phone line, Pain Link 1300 340 357. APMA has provided us with 4 complimentary copies of the locally produced DVD, “Chronic Pain”. The DVD combines graphical information with patient and specialist interviews. These are available to the first 4 people to contact Colleen Blums by email ([email protected]). (These DVDs have been claimed 13.5.11)

Brisbane based Merlo Coffee kindly donated a ‘coffee appreciation morning’ as a door prize for the evening. This was won by Chris O’Kane and presented by Colleen Blums s shown is the accompanying photograph. They have also donated a one day course to help with DANA’s fund raising efforts.
We appreciate Jo McMaster, Reckit Benkiser’s local representative, for her ongoing support of these meetings.
