Period of Employment
Permanent, full-time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

Statewide Mental Health Services- Alcohol and Drug Service, North
Work within a multidisciplinary health team framework to facilitate the comprehensive assessment, planning and implementation of appropriate interventions for individuals and their families who may be affected by alcohol and other drug use issues, in accordance with the philosophies of the National Drug Strategy.
Provide professional and clinical leadership, support and direction to nursing staff in the delivery of specialist services to clients of the Alcohol and Drug Service and across the alcohol and other drugs sector utilising evidence-based practice.
As a member of the area management team contribute to the overall development and implementation of the statewide Alcohol and Drug strategic plan, including the development of partnerships with key stakeholders, foster service improvement and professional development.
Practice in accordance with Government legislation and regulations, Primary Health Care principles, Alcohol and Drug Service policies, Agency policies, legal requirements and professional competencies, to provide direct high-level care to clients of the ADS ensuring high quality service provision and nursing care.
