There is no DANA HQ! DANA is managed by a group of hard working volunteers, all drug and alcohol nurses who volunteer their time to manage DANA for DANA members.
Even though DANA is a volunteer organisation, it is professionally organised and legally incorporated in NSW through the Department of Fair Trading. DANA takes good governance and its reporting obligations very seriously.
The management of DANA occurs through a committee structure which is fully described in the DANA Constitution; a legal document that provides the structure for the operation of DANA. The DANA Constitution is available to DANA members on request. The Committee that manages DANA is elected by DANA members, according to the Constitution, at an Annual General Meeting.
Our Public Officer, the legal ‘face’ of DANA is Life Member Jennifer Holmes.
