About this role:
Are you interested in strategic research, evaluation and population health programs? Then consider leading strategic research and evaluation within the portfolio of the Centre for Population Health, NSW Ministry of Health.
The role will strengthen relationships with consumer organisations, clinical research groups and clinical academics, non-government organisations and research organisations. The role will work in close collaboration with these stakeholders to develop a prioritisation framework for strategic research and evaluation projects relating to alcohol and other drug services, ensure the necessary governance frameworks are in place, and develop the state-wide infrastructure and support necessary to sustain these strategic research activities.
As the manager of a team, you will also support the development of team members, and prepare high quality written advice in the form of briefs and reports, sometimes at short notice. You will be passionate about developing state-wide research capacity and continuously looking for better ways to engage your team and the clinical and research community to achieve better strategic research outputs that improve outcomes for people with alcohol and other drug issues.

Role Classification: Clerk Grade 11/12
Remuneration: $128,089 – $148,134 pa (plus superannuation and annual leave loading)
