“The National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC) is pleased to announce that the first of the Centre’s monthly E-Zines is now available.
The monthly E-Zine is just one of a range of services and projects that will assist the Centre in fulfilling its aims which are as follows:
– to provide the Australian community with evidence-based information and resources about cannabis-related harms
– to support service providers to respond to those experiencing cannabis-related problems
– to specifically engage young people to increase their knowledge and understanding of cannabis and related harms, criminal justice, and how to access assistance for cannabis related problems
The NCPIC E-Zine will examine a range of cannabis-related issues. As well as highlighting relevant research publications that have been recently published, it examines some of the cannabis-related media stories that have attracted attention each month, as well as providing some information on ‘hot topics’ such as cannabis potency. Commentary on research publications and media stories from experts in the field will also be included where appropriate.
The NCPIC website will be launched early in the New Year. Until that time, the E-Zine will be available on the NDARC website – please go the following link to download your copy:
Subscribers to the NCPIC mailing list will be emailed a PDF version of the E-Zine when it becomes available.
If you wish to become a NCPIC subscriber and receive a range of electronic resources (including the E-Zines and the NCPIC Bulletin Series) as well as regular updates on the Centre’s activities (including free national training) please contact Paul Dillon by return email or telephone at the address below.
